Chemical Peels

A Chemical Peel is a non-invasive, exfoliating treatment that loosens the “glue” binding dead skin cells to the skin surface. Chemical Peels increase the production of collagen and minimize the occurrence of acne, as well as, improve the appearance of rosacea, environmental damage, hyperpigmentation, fine lines, wrinkles and acne scarring. The result is smoother, tighter, more hydrated skin, ultimately leaving you with a clearer, more youthful complexion.

After receiving a Chemical Peel, your skin care products will have the ability to penetrate deeper into the skin, allowing them to be more effective. Without exfoliation, skin care products are unable to go beyond the surface of the skin, thus, preventing you from seeing the results you are hoping for. After evaluating your skin during treatment, our Aesthetician will make skin care product recommendations for an optimal maintenance regimen at home.

After a thorough evaluation by our experienced Aesthetician, it will be determined whether a Facial, Chemical Peel or Dermasweep Microdermabrasion would be best suited to achieve your goals.

Obagi® Radiance Blue Chemical Peel:

We are excited to introduce a new medical grade chemical peel from Obagi®, suitable and beneficial for all skin types. Obagi® Radiance is a unique professional peel formulated with Salicylic acid and a proprietary blend of Lactic & Glycolic acid. It will effectively exfoliate the uppermost layers of damaged skin, leaving your skin fresh, renewed and radiant. The Obagi® Blue Peel RADIANCE may be ideal in combination with Obagi® skin products. Facials

Facials are performed by one of our licensed Aestheticians. The Facials offered at the Aesthetic & Vein Center MD were created to ensure that we can help every skin type and condition.

We proudly feature Phytomer skin care products for our Facials. Phytomer utilizes marine extracts rich in vital minerals and complex nourishment to provide the necessary ingredients for individual skin care needs and concerns.

Quintessential Facial- Does your skin need a little TLC? Each individual’s skin is different and has specific needs that change periodically. Our licensed Aesthetician will customize a Facial to address your concerns while you relax and enjoy a massage that will ease your stress. You will leave feeling refreshed with healthier skin.

Clarifying Facial- This treatment is like a breath of fresh air for combination and oily skin types, especially for acne prone skin. Using detoxifying marine extracts, this Facial removes impurities while improving the clarity and texture of the skin. Your Facial may include a deep cleansing, exfoliation, extractions and a purifying mask to reduce acne causing bacteria deep within the pores, leaving your skin noticeably healthier.

Soothing Facial- Rosacea, sensitive and allergy-prone skin types require special attention. Neutralize sensitivities and redness through our unique blend of anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory formulas. This distinctive treatment will soothe and strengthen the integrity of your skin.

Four Layer Thermal Facial – This facial uses anti-aging products to revitalize the skin. A mixture of serums, infusions and a thermal layer are used to allow for deep penetration of the products. It may be customized for sensitive and dehydrated skin types.
